The Brief
My client, a young professional, had recently purchased a one-bedroom flat in Shoreditch, London. With no prior renovation experience, a limited budget, a busy job and a tight deadline to move in, she needed practical end to end guidance and hands-on support to upgrade the space.
The flat itself was outdated, dark, cramped, and lacked any functional storage—making it feel smaller and more cluttered than it needed to. She wanted to transform it into a beautiful, welcoming home that felt calm, modern, and truly hers.
The Approach
I began with a focused consultation to understand her needs, timeline, and lifestyle. From there, I proposed layout improvements and aesthetic recommendations to maximise both space and light. Using floor plans and 3D renders, I helped her visualise options and make confident decisions early in the process.
Once scope was defined and a preliminary quote approved, I sourced and appointed a trusted builder. We then developed detailed plans and guided the client through selecting materials and finishes that aligned with her style and budget. I also handled procurement to simplify the process for her.
Throughout the build, I managed the site and coordinated works to ensure the project stayed on track—minimising disruption and keeping the client informed while she focused on work.
The Outcome
The result was a stylish, modern flat delivered on time and within budget.
